Dr Jason Bos
Dr Jason Bos is a psychologist with a warm, collaborative and empathic approach who specialises in treating adolescents and young adults. He sees clients with a range of issues, including depression, anxiety, anger, sleep difficulties, behavioural problems, grief and trauma. Jason is passionate about early intervention, the prevention of mental illness and empowering individuals to understand and proactively strengthen their mental health.
Jason draws upon evidenced-based treatments that include supportive counselling, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness, Self-Compassion and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), all of which are tailored to the individual client.
Jason completed his Doctor of Psychology (Clinical) at Deakin University and is a registered psychologist and member of the Australian Psychological Society. In addition to working in private practice, Jason works as a psychologist at headspace, the National Youth Mental Health Foundation and as a Research Fellow at Deakin University, where he specialises in complex youth mental health and addiction and has numerous publications.
